Welcome to Yuvwaa ("Futuristic Mobility Private Limited", "Company", "we", "our", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("Yuvwaa App") and related services.
Please read this privacy policy carefully. By using the Yuvwaa App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy and our Gig Worker and Electric Vehicle Rental Agreement.
Without your acceptance of this policy and related agreements, Futuristic Mobility Pvt. Ltd. (Yuvwaa) will not be able to provide services to you. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please refrain from using our services.
2. Gig Worker Agreement
By using the Yuvwaa App, you agree to be bound by our Gig Worker and Electric Vehicle Rental Agreement.
As a rider on our platform, you enter into a legally binding agreement that governs:
- Independent Contractor Status: You operate as an independent contractor, not an employee
- Vehicle Rental Terms: Electric vehicle rental rates, security deposits (₹2,999), and payment terms
- Safety Requirements: Mandatory helmet use, traffic compliance, and safe riding practices
- Order Operations: Delivery standards for partner platforms (Zepto, Zomato, etc.)
- Insurance Coverage: Comprehensive vehicle insurance and claim procedures
- Termination Provisions: 7-day notice period and immediate termination for serious breaches
The full agreement is presented during the onboarding process and must be accepted electronically via OTP verification or digital signature before accessing platform services.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Personal Information (Mandatory)
As per our Gig Worker Agreement, we collect the following personally identifiable information:
- Full Name (as per Aadhaar)
- Phone Number (Primary & Alternate)
- Email Address
- Current Residential Address with address proof
- Permanent Address
- Aadhaar Number
- PAN Number
- Driving License Number & Validity Date
- Emergency Contact Person Name & Number
- Two references with their phone numbers
- Owner NOC (for rental property)
3.2 Document Submission
Before vehicle handover, riders must submit:
- Aadhaar Card (original for verification, copy retained)
- PAN Card (copy)
- Valid Driving License (original for verification, copy retained)
- Passport size photographs (2 copies)
- Address proof
- Bank account details (Bank name, Account number, IFSC Code)
3.3 Device Information
When you use our app, we collect:
- Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers
- IP address and mobile network information
- App usage data and crash reports
- GPS tracking system data from the vehicle
3.4 Camera and Media Access
Our app requires camera access for the following purposes:
- Capturing photos of identity documents (Aadhaar, Driving License) during verification
- Taking profile photographs for rider identification
- Scanning QR codes for vehicle assignment and operations
- Documenting delivery proof and any incidents
- Reporting vehicle damage with photographs via the Yuvwaa app
- Recording accident scenes for insurance claims
Note: Camera access is only used when you explicitly initiate these actions within the app. We do not access your camera in the background.
3.5 Location Information
As per app requirements, we collect precise location data to:
- Track delivery routes and provide navigation
- Calculate earnings based on distance traveled
- Ensure rider safety and security
- Optimize fleet operations
- Enforce geo-fencing restrictions
- Monitor vehicle GPS tracking system
Important: Location permissions must be granted for the app to function. Riders must keep location services enabled during active duty hours.
3.6 Storage Access
Storage access is required for:
- Saving captured documents and photos locally before upload
- Caching app data for offline functionality
- Storing delivery-related documents temporarily
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Create and manage your rider account
- Verify your identity and eligibility to operate vehicles
- Process payments, rentals, and security deposits
- Assign delivery orders from e-commerce and quick commerce platforms
- Calculate weekly payouts based on earnings, rental fees, and energy costs
- Provide customer and roadside assistance support
- Send important notifications about your account and orders
- Schedule mandatory monthly vehicle servicing
- Process insurance claims and accident reports
- Enforce traffic compliance and safety requirements
- Comply with legal obligations
- Prevent fraud and ensure platform security
5. Information Sharing
We may share your information with:
- Delivery Partners: Zepto, Zomato, and other e-commerce/quick commerce platforms for order fulfillment
- Payment Processors: Razorpay for secure payment processing
- Verification Services: DigiLocker and UIDAI for identity verification
- Insurance Providers: For vehicle insurance and claim processing
- Cloud Services: AWS for secure data storage
- Service Centers: Yuvwaa authorized service centers for vehicle maintenance
- Legal Authorities: When required by law, for traffic violations, or to protect our rights
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
6. Media Consent and Promotional Use
By using our services, you grant Yuvwaa permission to use your photographs, videos, audio recordings, and testimonials for:
- Marketing and promotional campaigns
- Social media content
- Training materials
- Safety awareness programs
- Website and app content
This consent is perpetual unless revoked in writing. You may withdraw consent by contacting us, though this will not affect materials already published. Positive work sharing on social media is allowed only with prior Company approval.
7. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Encryption of sensitive data in transit and at rest
- Secure authentication mechanisms
- Regular security audits and assessments
- Access controls and employee training
8. Data Retention
As per our Gig Worker Agreement and applicable laws:
- Personal data is retained during the Agreement term plus 7 years thereafter
- Anonymized data may be retained longer for analytics and service improvement
- Digital documents and electronic records are maintained as per the Information Technology Act, 2000
- Insurance and accident-related records are retained as required by law
9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal information
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal requirements and 7-year retention period)
- Withdraw consent for data processing
- Export your data in a portable format

10. Confidentiality
You agree to maintain strict confidentiality of:

Confidential information must only be used for authorized purposes and must be returned or destroyed upon termination. Breaches may lead to immediate termination, forfeiture of dues, and legal action. Confidentiality obligations continue indefinitely after termination.
11. Electronic Acceptance
This Privacy Policy and the Gig Worker Agreement are executed electronically via:
- Clicking "I Agree" buttons
- OTP verification
- Digital signatures
- Biometric authentication methods
Such electronic acceptance is legally valid and enforceable under the Information Technology Act, 2000, carrying the same legal weight as physical signatures. The Company maintains electronic records of acceptance, including timestamps, IP addresses, and device information.
12. Children's Privacy
Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. You must be at least 18 years of age and possess legal capacity to enter into agreements with us.
13. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. We will provide 7 days' notice of material changes via email, SMS, or app notification. The updated policy will be posted on our website and app.
Your continued use of the Services after such posting will constitute your acceptance of the revised policy. If you do not agree with any changes, you must immediately cease using the Services.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in courts of Pune, Maharashtra. Disputes may be resolved through:
- Good faith negotiations (15-day period)
- Arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996
- Court proceedings in Pune, Maharashtra
